Ayomi Panditharathna, the founder of The Dandy Custom Cakes, is an award winning sugar artist for her stunning wedding cake structure. She has successfully built her business in the cake decorating industry over the past half a decade. In 2018, after graduated from the Advance diploma in cake decorating at R L Clement cake decorating school in SriLanka, Masters in sugar paste/Royal Icing piping/sugar flowers at Knightsbridge PME in England UK and The Wilton Method of Cake Decorating Courses 1/2/3 in the USA, Ayomi Panditharathna launched her cake business and founded The Dandy custom cakes.

Located in Winnipeg, Canada, The Dandy Custom Cakes focus on the taste, quality and delicate figurines and realistic sculptures on top of the cake. The Innovative design and delicate style that shine on top of the cake make The Dandy custom cakes.

Ayomi has always loved to bake, but her passion for cake decorating didn’t start until she made her first birthday cake for her husband 7 years ago. It was one of her most rewarding experiences and she hasn’t stopped decorating since! She enjoys sharing her skills and passion for cake decorating and loves to inspire her students to achieve new levels of creativity and expertise!
